How Will Universal Search Affect SEO?

This article is an overview of the new Universal search method recently introduced by search engine monster Google. All other major search engines are also in the process of developing their own Universal search programs. Universal Search is an evolutionary step forward in search engine technology. Instead of almost exclusively website-based textual listings, Universal Search includes in the search engine results all forms of data media, including video, photos, PDF documents, news listings, and audio recordings. Although this presents a new world of info opportunity to the online searcher, critics see problems with sorting through all the new data types for relevant results. SEO Companies will face new challenges in finding ways to optimize effectively for images and other new data forms. |
