Roboform is a great program. I use it for 2 main reasons. The first reason is for its password management capabilities. Second because it is a form filling program. I have been using Roboform for 9 months now and I don’t know how I functioned before it. I am online a lot and with Roboform I save at least 1 hour a day checking my emails, and different accounts.

Roboform is a toolbar that installs into your browser (i.e. Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox, Safari). The entire program is controlled through this toolbar which is very easy to use toolbar. You can customize what features you want to display on the toolbar. Roboform is secured by a master password which is time sensitive. I set mine for a few hours since I spend a lot of time on the internet. But you can set it for 30 minutes if you choose. Now that are logged into Roboform let’s get into why you need this program.

Roboform’s password management works by; the first enter a login and password for ANY website, a pop up will appear asking if you would want to save the passcard. Once you save the passcard you will never have to enter that information again. To login to that account all you need to do is go the passcard button on the toolbar and select the account you want to login to. Roboform will automatically take you to the website and fill in your user name and password. If you have multiple accounts like I do you can see how nice it will be to have type that information out every time. You will have to save your passcard for every different site and username you have the first time. However, Roboform will even save different usernames and passwords for the same website. For instance I have 8 yahoo emails all saved in my Roboform program.

The second reason I use Roboform is for its form filling capabilities. I do a lot of SEO work and filling out all of the same information over and over again is time consuming. I save around 3 hours a day using the form filling features when I am doing my SEO work. Roboform will save any and all information you choose to enter into it. And if they do not have a field you need; you may make custom fields at the end of the program. It is hard to explain the capabilities in words so I made a quick video on this program.
