Every search engine has different algorithms. The algorithm is used to rank a website on the search engine. It may seem hard to conquer the algorithm but the search engines have provided guidelines for webmasters to follow. The ranking of a website in the search result depends on a variety of factors such as number of backlinks, content, updates, testing or new products and etc. Just like other search engine, the more backlinks your site has, the higher you will rank in the Yahoo search result.

The backlink should be obtained slowly otherwise they will not have any value. As soon as you get the 1000 backlinks, you will see your site not doing well in the search engine. This serves as a warning to you. If you ignore this situation, your site will be completely deindexed. It can be hard to get a deindexed website picked by the search engine and indexed again. The pages should have a reasonable size. Basically, the HTML page without picture should have a file size under 150 KB. If you add picture to the page, make sure the size of the page is not too big. If the page size is too big, it will take a long time to load.  You should not place the text which you want the spider to index inside an image. If you include the text in the image, the search engine will never be able to index it. Instead, you should replace the logo with a text. The pages should be aimed toward the users and not the search engine. If you make pages that are aimed towards the search engine, it will never be indexed.
