MRA Celebrates 50th Birthday

The Marketing Research Association will celebrate its 50th Anniversary June 6-8, 2007 at the Hyatt Embarcadero San Francisco during MRA's Annual Conference and Research Industry Forum.

The Research Industry Forum gives companies the opportunity to showcase their products and services. It is the place where you can meet industry partners and friends and reveal the potential of your business to current and potential clients.

Among the featured events at the MRA conference is the 50th Anniversary Dinner Dance Gala for celebrating the opinion and marketing research profession. Many other events will display MRA's rich history and achievements.

The Conference will present over 25 educational sessions and a speaker line-up dominated by Fortune 500 and Honomichl Top 50 Companies including JC Penny, E-bay, Telemundo, Dell, National Homeland Security, Frito-Lay, National Geographic, Weekly Reader, Mattel, Electronic Arts and New Line Cinema.

Speed networking workshops featuring keynotes on business management, project management, financial operations and sampling will be running simultaneously on the first day of the event.

On the second day, attendees will be able to select from six Educational Tracks: Qualitative, Quantitative, Online/IMRO, Business Strategies, Entertainment and End User. Renowned speakers will disclose their experience and knowledge in marketing, project management, supplier/client interaction, business development/sales, data collection techniques, analysis, quantitative techniques, technology trends and many others.

The Marketing Research Trade Association was incorporated in 1957 in New York and in 1970 it changed its name to Marketing Research Association. Now MRA is a the leading and largest association dedicated to the opinion and marketing research profession with about 2900 members.
