ad:tech Invites U.S. Hispanic and Latin American Marketers to Miami

The upcoming ad:tech Miami conference will take place June 26-27, 2007 at the Miami Beach Convention Center attracting attendees from Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Costa Rica, Venezuela and the United States. Themed "Your Destination to Connect with the Hispanic and Latin American Online Marketplace", the event will focus on interactive marketing agencies in the U.S. Hispanic market and Latin America.

ad:tech Miami will feature more than 120 speakers from the United States, Brazil and Latin America, while the exhibit hall will showcase over 75 key exhibitors from throughout Latin America, Brazil, Mexico and the United States. All tracks and sessions at the two-day conference will be presented in English with simultaneous translation in Spanish and Portugese.

The conference will start with the keynote presentation "Living with the Internet - Experiencing the Digital Revolution from a Latin American and US Hispanic Perspective" by Fernando Madeira, CEO of Terra Networks Latin America. Mr. Madeira will discuss how marketers respond to the consumer habits in the ever growing digital world and the opportunities emerging from the increasing influence of the new media.

The "Consumers, Content and Control" keynote roundtable will bring together leading executives from across the region to talk about the state of content, distribution and consumer demand.

The keynote presentation "MySpace Sits Down with CNN" will feature Shawn Gold, Senior VP of Marketing and Content at MySpace.com, as he sits down for a one-on-one interview with CNN Financial and Business News Anchor, Alberto Padilla.

Workshops will offer attendees an overview of the SEO and SEM marketplace, the emerging trends in measurement and optimization and the latest analytics and tools for effectively reaching the consumers, the increasing importance of blogging and podcasts, and viral and word-of-mouth marketing as a viable and effective marketing medium.

ad:tech Miami has also set up a number of entertaining events. The conference will kick off with the Batanga Opening Night Party sponsored by Batanga and co-sponsored by e-volution, and close with the Terra Beach Bash, a live Latin Music party sponsored by Terra.
