Yahoo! Inc. (www.yahoo.com) announced the launch of a new job search engine that enables job seekers to find jobs from across the Internet at www.hotjobs.com. In addition to providing advertised job listings on the Yahoo! HotJobs site, the company will now also employ its leading search technology to crawl the Internet, offering job seekers listings from other employer and job-related Web sites.

"Job seekers now have one place to find quality jobs from across the Web," said Dan Finnigan, Yahoo! senior vice president and Yahoo! HotJobs general manager.

The new job search engine was developed to provide the most comprehensive job search experience online. Yahoo! is currently testing implementations of the new product to ensure optimal results for both job seekers and recruiters.

"Applying our search technology in the job and recruitment marketplace proves again Yahoo!'s ability - and opportunity -- to extend our search leadership into new and growing verticals," said Phu Hoang, senior vice president of engineering for Yahoo! Inc.

This launch is a significant step in a plan to bring Yahoo!'s evolving technologies in search, match, personalization and targeting to the recruitment market.

Today, Yahoo! HotJobs utilizes these technologies to offer recruiters the most sophisticated targeting solutions, including premium placements, email marketing programs, and media products - solutions no other recruitment site offers.

As a leader in the online recruiting industry, Yahoo! HotJobs (www.hotjobs.com) has revolutionized the way people manage their careers and the way companies hire talent.

Yahoo! Inc. is the No. 1 Internet brand globally and the most trafficked Internet destination worldwide. Yahoo! provides online products and services essential to consumers' lives, and offers a full range of tools and marketing solutions for businesses to connect with Internet users around the world. Yahoo! is headquartered in Sunnyvale, Calif.
