Seekport Shows Benefits of White-label Search at SES 2006

Business Design Centre, Islington, London – Seekport, the innovative European search technology provider, will be demonstrating its leading white label search solution at this year’s Search Engine Strategies (SES) show, one of the key events covering search engine marketing and optimisation issues. Seekport’s search solution has been installed by high-profile clients such as IDG, Lastminute.com and Touch Group. It enables clients to integrate search results from their archives, the web and Seekport’s blog index with sponsored links in a single results page. Seekport maintains its own web index under the guidance of a UK index quality team, and differentiates itself by providing UK-relevant results. Competing search engines provide English-language results which are as likely to relate to the US or Australia.

Seekport also offers a customised vertical search capability that weights the search results according to the client's particular requirements. If a user searches on a particular term that could have many different meanings and contexts, only the results which are relevant to the client's market will be displayed.
