SmartSearch Marketing, a full-service search engine marketing agency, announces the additions of Matt Harper as director of Internet services and Chris Harkins as the director of sales. Harper and Harkins will help SmartSearch better serve its growing client base and seize new business opportunities in the fast-paced online marketing industry.

Harper will be responsible for Web design support services, Web analytics, conversion consulting and the development of interactive digital campaigns. Before joining SmartSearch, Harper helped develop Internet-based marketing programs for several Fortune 500 companies, including Coca Cola and Mazda, as well as LastMinuteTravel.com.

Harkins will oversee new business development efforts and focus on growing the firm's client base. Harkins brings more than 15 years of experience in sales, operations and account management to SmartSearch. Previously he managed new business sales at the Internet measurement and analyst research firm, Jupiter Media Metrix.

"We welcome Chris and Matt to our team as we continue to build our agency and add new service capabilities for our clients," said Dale Hursh, CEO of SmartSearch. "As search engine marketing practices continue to mature, additional interactive services, such as conversion consulting and Website analytics services will play an increasingly critical role in campaign success."

SmartSearch Marketing is a full-service search engine marketing agency since 1999. The company takes an integrated approach to search marketing, blending search engine optimization (SEO), search advertising and Web site conversion, as is appropriate.
