In July, WebDex, Inc. announced the addition of Bob Williaford as its
full-time Chief Operating Officer. Williaford had previously served as
an operational improvement consultant to the company for six months.
WebDex searched for several months before choosing Williaford as the most qualified candidate.
Williaford's major goals include helping WebDex with its financial and
project management. He plans to push the company's growth forward and
to create a firm financial foundation.
Williaford earned a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prior to joining WebDex, Williaford served as COO, shareholder and
director of The CMI Group in Carrollton, Texas. Previously, he was a
founder and director of several companies, managing some through crises
and turnaround situations. He has been a corporate leader who has
invested in and strengthened privately-held emerging companies. He
brings experience from numerous industries such as electronics,
financial outsourcing and software.
"WebDex has the potential and the entrepreneurial spirit to respond
effectively to the needs of clients," Williaford said when asked why he
accepted the position.
