SEO Analyzer Records 100,000th Page Analysis

Sitening's SEO Analyzer for Web Design recorded its 100,000th Web page analysis. Part of Sitening's free SEO Tools suite, this month also marked the creation of the 5,000th free user account.

Officially launched in January 2006, Sitening's free SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Tools help Webmasters, Website owners and search engine marketers optimize their Websites and develop strategies for improving their search engine results pages.

After creating a free account on Sitening's Website (sitening.com/tools) visitors have unlimited access to SEO Analyzer and other tools. SEO Analyzer allows visitors to enter a Web page address and generate a one-page report outlining its strengths and weaknesses in relation to search engine optimization. The average score was 69 out of 100. A 69 is considered satisfactory; although most Websites can still make improvements to optimize for better search engine results.

"We created SEO Analyzer as an internal tool to produce better websites for our clients," says Jon Henshaw, Sitening's Internet Strategist. "Eventually we decided to make the tool free and open to the public, with no expectations that it would become popular. In addition to SEO Analyzer, the SEO Tools suite offers three complementary tools:

- SERP Tracker
- Backlink Analyzer; and
- Google PageRank™ Checker

SERP Tracker allows visitors to track the performance of specific keywords for particular domains. Results can be tracked daily, weekly and monthly, with a search depth of top 10 to top 100 results. Backlink Analyzer can be used to research domains for link quality. The Google PageRank Checker allows visitors to quickly learn the Google PageRank of a given website or individual Web page.

The suite includes one additional pay-per-use option, SEO Report. SEO Report checks a specified website for the most crucial elements affecting search engine optimization. Using a sophisticated, proprietary algorithm, the tool produces a comprehensive custom report for your website, with specific suggestions for improving search engine results. Reports are delivered in PDF format and cost $3.99.

Sitening plans to offer a professional version of the SEO Tools suite for web marketers and agencies in early 2007.
