TheFind, Inc. has added search by color technology to TheFind.com and in conjunction, announced its first "Color for a Cause" campaign -- a drive that will raise money for charity and will run several times each year. The inaugural campaign will benefit Doctors Without Borders, an international independent medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural and man-made disasters, and an absence of health care in more than 70 countries.

TheFind.com will donate to Doctors Without Borders $1 per day for every person who searches for a red item on their shopping search engine. Searches for red wagons, red sweaters, red coffee makers, or any other red product will result in TheFind.com donating to this worthy cause. The first "Color for a Cause" campaign will run until the goal of a $10,000 donation for Doctors Without Borders is reached. According to Doctors Without Borders, a $10,000 donation provides 10,000 people with vaccinations for meningitis or measles.

"We are excited to integrate search by color tools with TheFind.com's powerful shopping search technology. In honor of the giving spirit of the holiday season, we wanted to contribute to a deserving charity," said Larisa Hall, Vice President of Marketing for TheFind.com. "We plan on making "Color for a Cause" a recurring event, and hope our users will embrace this unique concept and utilize our shopping search engine not only to find whatever they are looking for, but to help raise money for worthy causes."

TheFind.com has chosen BlogHer, the leading women's blogging network, as its exclusive marketing partner in order to promote the "Color for a Cause" campaign.

"We are thrilled to partner with TheFind.com as its exclusive marketing platform for the inaugural "Color for a Cause" campaign," said Jory Des Jardins, Co-Founder and President of Business Development & Alliances of BlogHer. "Our network features an unmatched number of leading women bloggers, making us a perfect fit to spread the word about this drive. BlogHer bloggers had already joined together to support philanthropic endeavors, and Doctors Without Borders was a favorite, so we are thrilled to further help."
