As the museum's online advertising agency of record, Spur Digital created www.FrogsAtHMNS.com to drive awareness and interest in the new exhibit by engaging visitors in a variety of ways.
Using the HMNS "Frog Cam" visitors can watch live frogs via the
microsite 24/7. Spur Digital raised the bar in viral marketing by
producing "Project Frogway," which allows visitors to dress their own
frog in outfits and accessories ranging from "hip hop" to
"fashionista". Visitors can mix and match accessories to personalize
and name their own frog. They can then view their frog on the runway
and send an e-postcard inviting their friends to view it.

raises the bar for regionally-targeted interactive campaigns," stated

walking the runway and includes a link to the microsite. Aside from
these interactive elements, the campaign also features "The Toadally
Awesome Giveaway" in which visitors can register to win Pet Smart Gift
Cards, dinner at Amazón Grill, or the revolutionary and interactive
Nintento Wii.
Flash animation, rich-media banner advertisements and email blasts
featuring the promotion, will drive traffic to FrogsAtHMNS.com.
The site's objectives are to entertain visitors, drive viral traffic to
the site, create awareness of the exhibit and drive ticket sales. HMNS
also benefits from the unique brand awareness and consumer engagement.
FrogsAtHMNS.com is the latest in a series of exhibit-specific
microsites designed, marketing and managed by Spur Digital for the
Houston Museum of Natural Science.
