SEO Class
has announced their Pro Bono Workshop to be held at the NYC Seminar and
Conference Center on March 23, 2007 in Manhattan, NY. Open to valid
non-profit organizations, the Pro Bono Workshop will show organizations
how to leverage the best practices of search engine optimization and
marketing and increase their website visibility in the search engines.
The Pro Bono Workshop is limited to 30 organizations and will include
presentations by well known search engine marketing personalities Rae
Hoffman (Sugarrae.com), Todd Malicoat (Stuntdubl.com), Greg Niland
(GoodROI.com) and Michael Gray (Wolf-Howl.com).
Organizer Todd Malicoat said the idea for the Pro Bono Workshop came as
the group behind SEO Class was working out the agenda for their two-day
workshop series, "We wanted to polish the material that will be used
during our commercial workshops." Added organizer Michael Gray, "We
know charities are on a limited budget and can't always afford to send
people to conferences or hire consultants, so this also gives us an
opportunity to help people who are doing some good for the community."
The workshop will cover topics such as search engine optimization, link
development, branding, social marketing, content creation, research
techniques, pay-per-click (PPC) marketing, technical issues and tools
used to make search engine marketing tasks easier.
The seminar will also be sales pitch free. "We provide unbiased
information to our attendees based on our own experiences and not on
who is or is not paying for sponsorships," stated organizer Greg
Niland.
This event is free to valid non-profit organizations with a 501c3 tax
classification and accepted registrants can have up to three employees
attend the event. To register for the SEO Class Pro Bono Workshop,
please visit the event registration page at http://seoclass.com/register/.
While future workshops will be open to commercial organizations for a
$2,999 fee, organizer Rae Hoffman assures that the pro bono work will
not stop once their material is polished for commercial events, "We
plan to make a certain number of seats at all future workshops
available to valid non-profit organizations for free. We all benefit
from the work these organizations are doing and we want to help those
efforts on a continual basis."
