Pepperjam (www.pepperjamsearch.com), an Inc. 500 Company and industry leading full-service internet marketing agency, announced today that company President & CEO Kristopher B. Jones will address the issue of "Search Arbitrage" during Search-Engine Strategies (SES) - New York. The event will be held April 10-13, 2007 at the New York Hilton. Also on the panel will be Nick Fox, Group Business Product Manager, Ads Quality, Google Inc., as well as other notable industry experts.

"Search Arbitrage has become one of the hottest issues in search-engine marketing, especially as a result of search arbitragers who buy low-cost ads on Google Adwords and sell those ads back to Google advertisers through the Google Adsense (contextual advertising) program, a procedure often referred to as made-for-adsense (MFA) advertising. However, my primary goal during this panel will not be to defend MFA advertising, especially because I don't believe it provides meaningful value to the search-engine end user," said, Kristopher B. Jones, President & CEO of Pepperjam.

"Instead of focusing on MFA advertisers, I intend to defend Google Adwords advertisers, including professional affiliate marketers, who have experienced collateral damage as a result of Google's attempt to ameliorate MFA search arbitrage. In fact, many affiliate marketers have been forced out of business by Google since they are required in many cases to pay as much as $10 per click for a keyword that other (non-affiliate) Adwords advertisers are paying as little as 20 cents. I expect that Nick Fox from Google will be able to shed some perspective on many of the questions I intend to ask during the session," said Jones.

In addition to addressing "Search Arbitrage Issues" Pepperjam's CEO will also sit on a separate panel with senior members of Commission Junction and Performics to discuss important issues within the affiliate marketing industry.

SES - New York begins on Tuesday, April 10th at the New York Hilton and runs through Friday. The event is organized by world-renowned search authority Danny Sullivan and provides a meeting place and educational forum for search engine marketing professionals and business leaders. Jones' two panels, "Search Arbitrage Issues" and "Dealing with Affiliates," are scheduled for Thursday, April 12, 2007 from 9:00am - 10:15am. and 2:00pm - 3:15pm, respectively.

In addition to speaking, Pepperjam will also have a featured booth in the SES exposition hall - senior Pepperjam staff will be on-hand throughout the expo to answer questions about search-engine marketing (SEO / PPC), affiliate program management, social media optimization, and online media planning and buying.
