Solid Cactus®, an award-winning web design company and total solutions
e-commerce provider, announced that it has been recognized by the
prestigious Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies. The Inc. 500
and the newly created Inc. 5000 lists for 2007 were made public on
August 23, 2007.
- Solid Cactus is the 28th fastest growing private IT Services company in America.
- Solid Cactus is the 255th fastest growing private company in America.
"This
is wonderful recognition for our company," said Solid Cactus Co-Founder
and President Scott Sanfilippo. "We never set out to be a fast growing
company; we merely wanted to be the very best at what we do. Our
success has led to more success. One unique feature of the Internet is
how fast the word gets around about your company. Be it good or bad,
people find out and respond accordingly. We are honored with what the
Inc. 500 listings mean. They mean that we’re doing things right and
succeeding along the way."
The 2007 Inc. 500 list and profiles are available in the September issue of Inc. and http://www.inc.com/inc500.
Solid Cactus has also noted other milestones in its recent history:
- Three year growth was 922.4%
- Revenue for 2006 was $3.6 million – revenue for 2007 is expected to be over $7 million
- Employee count at end of 2006 was 72 – today it is 107
How the 2007 Inc. 500 Companies Were Selected:
This year’s list measures revenue growth from 2003 to 2006. To qualify,
companies must have been founded and generating revenue by the first
work of 2003 and therefore able to show four full calendar years of
sales. Additionally, they had to be U.S. based, privately held and
independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of public companies as of
December 31, 2006. The minimum revenue required for 2003 is $200,000;
the minimum for 2006 is $2 million. Revenue figures given in the
company profiles correspond to calendar year 2006 and the number of
employees listed is as of December 31, 2006. Full-time and part-time
employees are included; independent contractors are not.
