Search engines are bombarded with website submissions on a daily basis. Most of these websites are optimized to gain high ranking within search engine results. While optimizing websites is generally not bad, many SEO's (Search Engine Optimizers) overuse techniques for maximum profitability. Many optimized sites contain doorway scripts, masses of related ads or simply thousands of content pages especially designed to cover as many keywords (search strings) as possible.
Serious v. Fraudulent SEO's
While there are serious search engine optimization companies working with their clients to build search engine friendly websites, there are many fraudulent SEO's who focus on quantity instead quality. Why? Profit. It's very common to develop two different versions of a website (one for search engines, and one for end users) to reach a larger audience. Webmasters using a SEO should always check which techniques are used. Serious SEO's would never employ techniques such as doorway pages, request a backlink on a client's site or suggest using two different site versions for a better rank.
How O-B-J-E-C-T Helps Reducing Spam
Nokodo O-B-J-E-C-T was designed to reduce search engine spam. While other search engines simply "eat what they get", Nokodo indexes every website twice. The first index checks the robots.txt file in order to see if spidering is permitted by the NokodoBot. Once checked and allowed, Nokodo sends a random spider (random agents and IP addresses) to index the "real" end user content and compares it with the "optimized" index. If over-optimizing is detected, Nokodo either drops the site from its index or indexes the "real" end user version in order to deliver "real" results.
How O-B-J-E-C-T Helps Endusers
Many sites are filled with popup windows, Active X CAB installers, background music, flash, movies, and other design elements, which can cause unexpected results on a user's computer.
About Nokodo
Nokodo has launched its services to the public on January 1, 2005. Nokodo Search relies on its own spiders to build a searchable index while focusing on reducing spam within its index. Nokodo determines search results based on a unique, complex algorithm which analyzes the actual website content spidered instead of what webmasters want a robot to see. The Nokodo O-B-J-E-C-T Technology was developed exclusively for Nokodo Search by DNSProvider International (DNSProvider.us) - Patent Pending.
