Momentum Initiates Promotions for Chick-fil-A


One Million Nuggets Up for Grabs

ATLANTA, Ga. - Oct. 17, 2005 – The Atlanta office of Momentum Worldwide, a leading global marketing and promotional company, and Chick-fil-A are partnering for the “Million Nugget Giveaway” contest. 

Momentum is providing the strategic creative development and implementation of the contest being held in conjunction with the 2005 college football season. The Chick-fil-A “Million Nugget Giveaway” promotion will award one million chicken nuggets through giving away more than 15,000 small nugget trays to customers. 

“Momentum is proud to ‘team-up’ with Chick-fil-A in creating and promoting this exciting fan-focused contest,” said Frank Heald, managing director of Momentum Worldwide’s Atlanta office. “In the true spirit of collegiate athletics, we have successfully reached fans by celebrating the competitive spirit of the season.  This is a valuable partnership with the same results-driven objectives we strive to achieve with each of our clients – namely to help create, activate and increase demand.”

This is the third campaign in which Chick-fil-A has partnered with Momentum since January 2005. Earlier this year, Momentum executed the Chick-fil-A ACC Hoopla Sweepstakes.  Through the ACC Hoopla Sweepstakes, the grand prize winner received a trip for two to the 2005 ACC Basketball Tournament hosted in Washington, D.C. on March 10 through March 13. Chick-fil-A also gave away more than 30,000 coupons redeemable for a breakfast menu item.  The event was such a success that Momentum and Chick-fil-A are exploring options to offer a second generation of the basketball promotion in 2006.  In addition, Momentum is leading the effort on a Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl promotion that will begin at 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Dec. 30.
