Hainan S.E.Z. Property Rights Exchange Center Granted Exclusive Rights for Internet Keyword Registration and Online TradingMay 30, 2006; 07:09 AM SHENZHEN, China - Intermost Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: IMOT - News) announced today that the Hainan Special Economic Zone Property Rights Exchange Center (PREC), has been fully accredited by the state network information center -- the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), and granted exclusive rights for Internet Keyword Registration in Hainan Province and Online Trading nationwide. Intermost holds a 21% share in the PREC. According to the World Intellectual Property Office, the Internet Keyword system makes it possible to locate websites using ordinary words, without prefixes such as http:// or www., or top-level suffixes such as .com, .net, .org or .info. Internet Keywords are emerging as the most popular search method following domain names, enabling users to get to a URL or web address by simply entering a Chinese word in the address bar. It is predicted that Internet Keywords will soon be the preferred search method in China. By the end of 2005, there are more than one million registered domain names and Internet Keywords in China, more than double the number of 2004. Currently, Internet users in China total 110 million. Statistics indicate that the number of registered domain names and Internet Keywords account for 10% of the total population in developed countries. Therefore, there is tremendous potential for growth. Internet Keyword exchange is quickly becoming a good investment in China. In some cases, domain names and Internet Keywords have been rented or sold at a hundred times their original price, and exchanges are established to meet this rapid developing market. PREC will charge each Internet Keyword an annual registration fee of no less than USD 62.5. Besides, for each transaction of Internet Keywords, PREC will collect a certain service fee according to the trading value. Mr. Andy Lin, CEO of Intermost Corporation, said, ''Along with the rapid development of China's internet industry, the Internet Keyword business will play an increasingly important role. More and more users will register Internet Keywords. In addition, Internet Keywords can be bought and sold as an intellectual property right. Therefore, the Internet Keyword registration and trading will become a new trend of business to generate enormous earning for PREC, of which Intermost holds a 21% equity interest. Moreover, Intermost will also enjoy additional revenue by providing technical support and a trading platform for the transaction of the registration and online trading of Internet Keywords and domain names.''
