Schwartz Communications Introduces Podcasting ServiceJuly 18, 2006; 02:08 AM Schwartz Communications, Inc., one of the nation's leading public relations agencies focused on high-tech, medical technology and biotechnology companies, today introduced a new podcasting service. Unlike many other podcasting services, the Schwartz offering provides quantifiable measurement of the podcast's effectiveness as well as the ability to bundle podcasts into a comprehensive Podbook. Schwartz Communications removes the need to travel to a recording studio. The Schwartz podcasting team can remotely record, edit and master the podcast. After distribution, Schwartz works with its clients using its search engine optimization experience and relationships with staff at the top podcasting sites to maximize a podcast's potential. "For more than 15 years, Schwartz has helped companies tell compelling stories through the media, analysts, speaking engagements and other channels to realize a market advantage. Podcasts are another great tool companies can use to achieve this goal. This is a logical extension of our core offerings," said Steve Schwartz, president of Schwartz Communications. "Schwartz works with companies to develop and create the most effective messages, and manage all the technical details needed to create a successful podcast or Podbook." Podcasting is a method of creating and distributing audio programs and other multimedia files over the Internet that allows people to hear information directly on their computers or download it to a mobile device such as an iPod. Schwartz offers a range of podcast pricing packages in conjunction with its podcast partner New World Podcasting. All packages include the planning, pre-production, production, post-production and evaluation needed to produce and distribute an effective, 10-minute podcast. Schwartz can also bundle individual podcasts into a Podbook--a series of three or more podcasts to one target audience, covering different subjects or one subject with multiple perspectives. "The response to our podcast has been overwhelming," said Ken Robinson, director of corporate communications for Netmanage. "It has been an excellent source of lead generation; over three times our traditional Webinars. Podcasts will be an important part of our communications mix moving forward." Schwartz Communications was founded in 1990 by the husband and wife team of Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz. The agency has approximately 200 employees in its Waltham, Mass. and San Francisco offices. Schwartz Communications has garnered many honors and was named three times to the Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies. Schwartz Communications is the largest PR agency headquartered in New England.
