Megaglobe Joins IAB

Fledgling search engine Megaglobe celebrated this week after learning their application for membership into online media representative body the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) had been accepted.

“We are very happy to have been admitted into such a prestigious organization,” said Megaglobe CEO Naima Moore. “Megaglobe respects the aims and achievements of the IAB and membership of the bureau will greatly assist us in our goal to establish ourselves as a truly international search engine,” she said.

The IAB is dedicated to helping “online, interactive broadcasting, email, wireless and interactive television media companies increase their revenues,” according to the company’s website.

Founded in 1996, the IAB offers a wide range of benefits to its membership such as leadership forums, research studies and detailed information on the latest online advertising industry statistics, practices and developments.

It acts as the chief advocate for the interactive marketing and advertising industry and aims to maximise advertising revenues in the marketplace for its membership.

With Megaglobe looking to attract advertisers through its innovative sponsor listing Megaglobe Ads, the search engine’s believes its partnership with the IAB will be beneficial.
