MAXAMINE Launches FindMAX(TM) for Comprehensive Search Engine Quality Control & Performance Management

MAXAMINE Inc., the pioneer and leading provider of High-Performance Site Analytics solutions, has launched FindMAX, the first solution of its kind to provide an objective assessment of search performance with tangible actions to improve results. FindMAX objectifies search engine performance by comparing actual to desired results with unprecedented analytics to highlight specific site attributes compromising search productivity for both organic and enterprise search. EDS and Sun Microsystems have teamed with MAXAMINE as lead customers and development partners in pioneering the FindMAX solution.

Enabled by the MAXbot(TM) advanced scanning agent, FindMAX discovers, indexes and executes all objects and content associated with a website, not just an arbitrary subset. FindMAX captures pages, images, text, links, meta data, and scripts, along with documents and properties of PDF, Word, PowerPoint and more. FindMAX then identifies likely keywords through proprietary word density analyses. These keywords are then entered into search fields, and the resulting set of URLs are compared to the actual set associated with the underlying keywords. FindMAX spotlights relevant content missing from search results, while also flagging protected content which has been compromised through inadvertent inclusion in the index and published results.
