New Licensing Policy for SearchInform Announced

SearchInform Technologies Inc. announces a new licensing policy for SearchInform, a corporate system performing full text search and search for documents with similar to the query content, featuring a new flexible system of connectors. It lets the client select from the multitude of SearchInform’s functions only the ones really relevant to the specific business.

Starting with the current version, SearchInform supports a conceptually new licensing policy of the program. Now in order to extend the program’s functionality you simply need to choose the needed combination of connectors.

The following types of connectors are available:

• Database connectors are connectors that allow the system to index various databases and expand the program’s functionality features in working with them.
• Client connectors are connectors defining the number of workstations connected to the server.
• Scalability connectors are connectors allowing the user to increase the search capacities of the system up to the required level.
• Workstation indexing connectors are connectors allowing the user to index computers in the company’s local network and store the indexed information for a set period of time.
• Number of indexed documents connector defines the maximum possible number of documents indexed by the system.
