Minitab creator & developer’s maiden visit to India

Encouraged with the phenomenal success of the last Minitab User Summits, Binary Semantics, a representative for Minitab for its sales, marketing and technical support in India organized a trilogy of User Summits starting with the Capital city and followed by Bangalore on 20th April and Mumbai on 23rd April 07’.

The Minitab User Summits is a platform for an exclusive interaction opportunity between the Developers & the Users of Minitab from various industries to share & exchange their experiences on how Minitab has productively helped them to achieve their goals and ensure the success of their quality projects. The Summits will witness almost all the active Six Sigma Consultants from over 100 users companies sharing their success stories.

The speakers at the Summit held in Delhi included Mr. Praveen Pasricha and Mr.S.P.Tiwari, Consultant, Quality Growth Services Pvt. Ltd., who gave a presentation on the Synergy of Six Sigma and Minitab. Ms. Anupama Kumari, Sr. Manager Quality, Bhilai Steel Plant shared her experience about the Deployment of Six Sigma at Bhilai Steel Plant. Mr. S. Gurumoorthi Head – Business Excellence, Bharti Airtel talked about Analytics in Telecom Industry while Mr. Kulbhushan Gupta, Head-Corporate Quality and Six Sigma, Jubilant Organosys Ltd. shared Six Sigma Project Success Stories using Minitab at Jubliant. Mr. Vivek Gupta, Master Black Belt KPMG gave a presentation on the Application of DMAIC and Minitab in Manufacturing Process.

Dr. Scott Kowalski, Technical Training Specialist, Minitab Inc. also spoke on the occasion giving a Reliability Analysis on Why Minitab is Different? And also gave an Introduction to Quality Companion 2.
