Latest and trendiest sign advertising technologies come to Thailand as Sign Asia Expo '07 attracts international exhibitors

Thailand - Major international companies from Asia and Europe are all grabbing the opportunity to make an indelible mark in the global sign advertising industry by showing off their latest technological products at Sign Asia Expo ’07 which will be held on September 27-30, 2007 at the Hall 2-3, IMPACT Muang Thong Thani as Thailand plays host to a premier international sign technology-focused grand trade exhibition.

Promising to offer network opportunities among industrial manufacturers, suppliers and buyers around Asia and Europe, Sign Asia Expo ‘07: The Gateway of Asian Signage Industry has already received positive response from international companies who have reserved premium spots in the exhibition area, confirming Thailand’s position as a regional hub in this industry.

“Thailand is one of the fastest growing market in the region and most people would like to advertise their products and companies in this kind of market setting,” commented Ms. Ann GC Ng, Business Development Manager of Neschen AG who is among the major exhibitors in the event along with European company Kömmerling Kunststoffe which cited Thailand’s notable trend of having a yearly growing market for high quality products.

“As global player and market leader in Europe, we have to be at the forefront of this event as we offer a high range of different sheets products on a steady high quality level with more than 50 years of experience in the PVC products,” said Patrick N. Slarko, General Manager of the Business Unit of PVC Sheet.

Local and international visitors are expected to be treated to live demos and presentations of new innovations in printing technologies & services, material suppliers, advertising displays and electronic signage as exhibitors sees the event as the platform to launch their latest products.

“Thailand is continuously adopting new media and local players are also making effort in educating the market. It has a higher acceptance of new ideas and media compared to other market that is why we are looking at a good return of investment from joining this event,” said Ms. Susan Tan, Regional Sales Manager of Alcan Singapore.

New comers to Thai market, like Esko, is Maepim Co. Ltd., the dealer of Esko-Graphics who is also among the major exhibitors, will even give away free samples during the event.

“We would like to see more potential buyers from this exhibition. We hope that through this exhibition, more people will get to know us,” said Mr. Apiwat Sinchai of Maepin.

Also betting on Thailand’s leaning towards the use of latest quality products at reasonable prices is Gandinnovations with its President, Mr. Hary Gandy, saying, “We hope to introduce Gandinnovations to the Thail market and show the printing companies here that our Jeti printers are among the world’s latest and most reliable printing technology,”

According to Mr. Percy Lee, General Manager of German manufacturing company Heytex Technical Textiles (ZhangJiaGang) Co., Ltd. will also take its products for the first time in Thailand as it sees market potential, geographical importance, availability of distributors in Thailand.
