Marketing Research Association Partners With MrWeb to Bring Researchers More News, Information

August 23, 2007; 09:01 AM

Washington, D.C. — Marketing Research Association (MRA) today announced a new partnership with the international marketing research news service organization, MrWeb.

MRA’s website now includes links to the latest US and global news and job vacancies via MrWeb, while banners for MRA will appear on MrWeb’s US home page and on other sections of the site, informing readers of Daily Research News Online and other site visitors of MRA’s services and programs.

“We are thrilled to be working hand-in-hand with MrWeb to extend opportunities for our members in the marketing research profession,” says Larry Brownell, Executive Director of MRA. “In order to remain competitive in the marketing research profession, it is important that we continue to diversify our members’ access to new opportunities.”

The mission of this partnership is to “provide mutual promotion and support, covering MRA’s events and professional standards and MrWeb’s news and jobs services.”

MRA members will access brief details of MrWeb’s news and job registration options, and member companies will receive discounts to advertise job vacancies in the world’s busiest marketing research job seeker index.

“We were very impressed with MRA’s constructive attitude to helping their members,” says Nick Thomas of MrWeb. “MRA has a great program of events, both training via the PRC, and other seminars and meetings—we’re very pleased to help them spread the word to a wider audience, and also give their member companies a discounted introduction to our services. We certainly don’t want to duplicate the functions of a membership organization, and we’re delighted to have this working relationship with an organization whose offering is so complementary to our own.”
