New Web site for college students to party at Ballyhoo Tavern

BuddyUniversity.com Launches Search for BuddyBabes at Indiana State University

October 30, 2007; 04:45 AM

The folks that started BuddyUniversity.com, a new college social networking site, are inviting all college students in Terre Haute to party with them this Saturday night, November 3rd. Representatives from BuddyU will be on hand at The Ballyhoo Tavern for a night of free prizes, giveaways, and a BuddyBabe contest.

Terre Haute is just one of the many stops that BuddyUniversity.com is making around Indiana’s major college campuses. BuddyU started accepting members at the beginning of this month and has watched the numbers grow rapidly.

“We want to jump out of the gates promoting a new site that is geared exclusively for students.” said Terry Ballantini, President/CEO of BuddyUniversity.com. “We offer a site that is fun and outgoing and rewards members for doing the stuff that they already do, such as blogging, uploading pictures and videos, etc.”

During the night’s event, BuddyUniversity.com will be passing out nice freebies. College enrolled gals can compete for the spot as a “BuddyBabe,” representing ISU, which others will vote on that night. Top contestants will be added to the BuddyUniversity.com site for all members to vote on. All BuddyBabes will receive exposure on the website, which they can use to jumpstart a modeling portfolio, show off to their friends, or have just for enjoyment. “What a fun way to show your pride in your school by becoming a BuddyBabe,” Ballantini added.
