Yahoo and Click Forensic Shall Now Fight Click Fraud

Pay per click

Yahoo and Click Forensic have recently joined hands that created turmoil in the search engine market. Big players like Google, MSN and Yahoo had always been accused of creating fraudulent pay per clicks in order to generate revenue. And Click Forensic was one of the click audit firm that accused them of doing this. Now that Yahoo has become a part of Click Forensic, it has become extremely difficult for other search engines to realize the loss.

Yahoo's decision to fight against click fraud has made it very clear to the world that it does not believe in fraudulent methods of gaining revenue. This might give it an upper hand in acquiring clients for its pay per click program Overture. Yahoo at present is the first search engine that has combined work with a third party click audit company.

Apart from promising fraud free click generations program the latest partnership also enables its clients to acquire sensitive account information such as click data which will show the genuine-ness of the clicks generated.

Google's pay per click program already provides a detailed report to the third party on the quality and number of clicks that are being generated. Hence, a Google Spokesperson stated, "We have been sharing information and working with third parties ever since we launched AdWords, and we are constantly improving additional tools for third-party support."

The Yahoo-Click Forensics relationship might just result to be a step on the same path. If nothing more, this merger will give Yahoo a position which shall distinguish him from the world leader Google.
