Web Applications to Lead the Web Bandwagon

People who keep a keen interest in web development must be aware of the transformations that are being predicted in the next version of the Web i.e. Web 3.0.

Web applications are developing at such a rate that soon almost all desktop applications that you can think of will be freely available online. A similar hint was also suggested by Mr. Shriram who enquired the crowd on the number of people who use MS. Office. And unsurprisingly almost everyone raised their hands, to which Mr. Shriram was quoted saying, "In two years, I would see how many of you raise your hands!"

The futurists of the World Wide Web foresee the web applications taking over the internet completely, converting internet from a informative interactive medium to now a data storage medium too. Mr. Shriram in his speech said, that the internet had had a slow start, a fast evolution and a rapid growth.

There aren't concrete facts to state what the new face of World Wide Web can be, but when asked to Mr. Shriram about his views on web 3.0 he commented that is would be mobile firstly, and secondly would be able to offer anything to anyone anywhere. Web 3.0 according to Mr. Shriram shall act as a combination of information, sharing and banking bay.

Though there are no confirmed views on whether Web 3.0 is going to be launched sooner or later, the rapid growth of the internet marketing has already started reflecting the inception of the new version in the form of newer application being launched everyday by leading players.
