North Carolina Photographer Wins Free Local Online Advertising Through WebVisible’s ‘Watch & Win’ Contest

WebVisible to Showcase Winner’s Progress in Blog, Providing Insight into Online Marketing Experience for Small Business Owners

IRVINE, Calif. and CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Aug. 11, 2010) – In its quest to help small business owners around the country demystify the online advertising and search marketing process, WebVisible (www.WebVisible.com) today announced it has awarded three months of free online advertising to the Charlotte, N.C.-area 360 Studios Photography (http://www.360studiosphotography.com).

Owner/photographer Jennel Cooper won WebVisible’s “Watch & Win” Contest – which asked business owners to view the premier episode of WebVisible’s documentary series, “The Great Divide,” and then answer the question: “What is the biggest challenge in growing your business?”

Cooper exemplified the frustrations heard from small business owners across America by answering, “Sadly, I am my biggest challenge in growing my business. I'm simply overwhelmed and confused with where to begin Search Engine Marketing.”

Cooper wins three months of online advertising valued at $500 per month, $1,500 total.  The package includes a Web Landing Page designed to drive sales leads, online ads for all the major search engines, including Google, Yahoo! and Bing, a Call Tracking Number that will record and track all calls resulting from the online ads, a personal account manager to help Cooper optimize her campaign performance, and 24/7 access to the online Merchant Center application that gives her detailed reporting and control over her campaign parameters.

WebVisible will be blogging throughout the three-month campaign to give business owners around the country a way to see the online marketing process and learn more about how to connect with customers using search advertising.  Blog posts will be available here: http://blog.webvisible.com/blog/webvisible.

“The anxiety Jennel expressed in her answer is something we hear all the time – that the process is simply overwhelming and confusing for people who are just trying to run their businesses,” said WebVisible CEO Kirsten Mangers.  “One of the reasons we offered this contest is because we know that it’s not just the right technology that enables effective online marketing, it takes the right partner to make it happen in a way that is rapid, easy to adopt, and measurable.  We’re thrilled to be that partner for Jennel.”

“The great thing about being a photographer and running my own business is that I get to do what I love to do – combining my love of art and all things creative with the act of capturing moments to remember forever,” said Cooper.  “What I don’t love about running my own business is the administrative work required to get my name out there and make sure people are able to find me.  I am grateful for the free campaign from WebVisible, and I am excited about the new business possibilities that being visible online will bring.”

360 Studios Photography, located in the Greater Charlotte/Fort Mill area of North Carolina, specializes in lifestyle photography, including weddings, engagements, children, pets and families, senior graduation photos and more.

WebVisible kicked off the contest in May by unveiling its new original Web series, The Great Divide, featuring real business owners and their real stories.  In this documentary series, WebVisible explores The Great Divide – where small businesses and consumers fail to connect.  View the series premiere here: http://www.webvisible.com/the-great-divide/http://www.youtube.com/greatdividemovie. and here:
