Rocket Fuel Names Experienced SaaS Executive Stephen Snyder as CFO

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rocket Fuel, Inc. (NASDAQ:FUEL), a leading Programmatic Marketing Platform provider, today announced that Stephen Snyder will join the company as its Chief Financial Officer on Nov. 10, 2016.

Stephen brings more than 20 years of financial leadership working for SaaS companies to Rocket Fuel, having served in executive roles in finance, operations and sales at Adobe Systems and Hewlett Packard.

Mr. Snyder previously served as CFO for Trilliant, a late-stage venture-backed pre-IPO company, leading the effort to introduce a managed services business model incorporating hardware, hosting, and support.

Prior to that, he spent eight years at Adobe Systems, most recently as VP of Finance in the office of the CFO and before that as VP and GM for Adobe’s 400-person Channel Sales business, transitioning it from a traditional licensing model to a SaaS model. He also spent 13 years with Hewlett Packard in a series of increasingly senior global finance roles.

Mr. Snyder takes over from interim CFO Henrik Gerdes, who will resume his role as Vice President, Corporate Controller and Treasurer.
