Things to Watch For
Now, when you trade links with people, and give their site
lots of exposure on your website, you need to make sure they
are doing the same for you.
Make sure they have your link in a visible place, also. You
don't want your site buried at the bottom of a huge links list.
Also, some people may remove your link after a while, as it
may get lost in a website redesign/cleaning. So you should
go back and check to see if your link is still there every few weeks!
If it isn't, email the webmaster and ask them what happened.
It was most likely a mistake, and most are willing to fix it
right away. But if they don't respond, or refuse to put it
back up, simple remove their link from your page.
It's no big deal... there are plenty of other sites you can trade links with!
I hope I've given you some good things to think about in
this chapter. Exchanging links is one of the best ways to
get quality traffic on the Internet, and I'd recommend you all try it out.
