Banner Exchanges
You may have noticed them. Those banners that so many sites
proudly display, I mean.
Usually those sites are in a banner exchange. Simply put, you
advertise the banner exchange, and the banner exchange
advertises your site all over the web.
The more times you display the exchange's banner, the more
times you will get advertised on other sites.
Simple enough.

By now you are probably thinking about what a great idea
this is. And it is a great idea. Sort of.
You see, some people kind of wreck things for themselves.
They have their webpage, and what does it consist of?
Nothing but banners for banner exchanges! What a pointless
waste. You need to have content to keep people coming back,
not just pages and pages of banners.
Banner exchanges are designed to increase the traffic to
your site, not to drive people away.
A good rule of thumb is to only display two banners *MAX* on
each page of your site.
So... what are you waiting for? You should join a banner
exchange today. After all, they are free!
