Typical blogging and its shortcomings is the topic of the webinar organized by Exclusive Concepts, Inc. The web seminar titled "Why Most Blogs Won't Generate Leads" will be held on Tuesday, March 27th at 12:30 pm and will discuss the issue of how to turn a corporate blog from a simple communication tool into an activity and interest generating means of company promotion. Marketing Pilgrim opened its second Search Engine Marketing Scholarship contest giving away a search engine marketing scholarship prize package worth more than $10,000. Entrants should submit an article related to search engine optimization (SEO), pay-per-click advertising (PPC) or social media optimization (SMO) before April 6th. Entries will be published between April 9 and 13 and will have their popularity measured for 4 weeks from publication. The winner will be selected by panel of industry expert judges from among the five finalists that receive the most “unique views” and will be announced on May 21.
