Email Delivery Rates Are Falling, Study Shows

Recently released research from The Relevancy Group reveals major shift in Email Marketing trends

PITTSBURGH (PRWEB) July 25, 2018 - This week industry veterans David Daniels and Nicholas Einstein of The Relevancy Group released a major new research paper entitled, “THE POWER OF EMAIL VERIFICATION AND MULTI-METHOD HYGIENE” which was sponsored by Webbula. Among other findings the paper reveals that email delivery rates have plummeted over the past three years, dropping 87% as of the second half of 2018.

Recent changes in email verification have left marketers concerned the research reveals, showing that only 53% of marketers surveyed are very confident in their email verification and hygiene solutions. However, those using verification and multiple methods of hygiene outperform those that don’t, the study also shows. These activities are ROI positive, and they deliver $2 million additional dollars in monthly revenue, The Relevancy Group Claims.

Since 2009, Webbula has been developing multi-method email hygiene, which they call cloudHygiene, as a bundled solution that not only includes verification, but also manages to identify a constantly growing spectrum of threats that impact email campaigns. With recent changes in Europe, with the advent of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and increasing concerns over consumer data privacy, marketers are finding it increasingly difficult to maintain accurate and reliable data quality on their own. This is rapidly making multi-method email hygiene an essential best practice in the industry.

“This is why we sponsored The Relevancy Group research”, said Vince Cersosimo, CEO Webbula, “We see the results that multi-method email hygiene brings to our clients every day and we know this should be best practice for anyone that plans to rely on email.”

The Relevancy Group plans to review and discuss the report on a Webinar being held on July 25, 2018. The webinar and the research paper are provided free of charge. Registration is being held at the following link: Register for the free webinar to learn more
