TrafficG Traffic Exchange Versus Entrecard

A Tool for increasing Traffic to your Blog or Website

Anyone involved in promoting Websites or Blogs is aware that your Site is only as sucessful as the Traffic it Draws. You can have a well designed Site, featuring numerous usefull Items, or Opinions, that is just "Sitting There"--Doing nothing. Why?--Traffic, Visitors viewing your Blog or website. So the object is to "Get Some" of this Traffic---How?

There are many ways the Webmaster attempts to draw people to His or Her Site. One of the methods used is Traffic Exchange. This is a system, where you join the "group", visit Websites or Blogs, and in turn---they visit you--Hopefully. This is a Free method that I have used and Still am using on several Blogs and Websites. I have found this method to be effective in increasing my traffic numbers, However, from a Sales Point of View--I find It Limited. The reason being that the majority, if not all, the viewers coming to your Site Via this method are there for the same reason as you are ---increase their traffic.

As any program has it's good points and bad, I will compare the Two exchange programs that I use. This is not a suggestion as to which is better than the other or which you use (If Any). It is just My findings. TrafficG Traffic Exchange Versus Entrecard.

Entrecard: This is a very nice and Easy exchange to work with. They have several categories to place your blog, allow the use of an Image as advertisement for your Blog, the program is easy to join, and I have found it to be somewhat productive. They have made it easy to view other Sites---which gives you Credits to use in advertising your Site on others, and you can also gain credits by someone placing ads on your Site. They explain all of this at their Site.

I have found their return to be anywhere from 3 to 1 ( meaning for every 3 Sites I visit--1 will return the favor ) to possibly 2 to 1, on a really good day. Therefore, I have experienced a 33% to 50% return on my investment (Time)---which really isn't that bad, considering you can visit alot of Sites, real quick, the card you click to tell the Site owner you have visited, is usually at the top of the page. However, I place mine a little lower, I'd like the viewer to see a "Little" of my content before He goes!!!

TrafficG: Another very nice addition to my Quest for Traffic. TrafficG claims to have a 1 to 1 ratio, meaning for every visit--you receive a visit. I have found this not only to be true, but I have found the traffic to arrive at a rather fast rate. Example--As a test, I visited 100 Sites, and within 5 hours, I had been visited Via TrafficG by 100 visitors. Now by no means can I say that is a given, I am just stating that they did give a 100% return, and seemed to do it Quickly. TrafficG, however will prove to be more Time consuming, Unlike Entrecard, who can be Click and Go, TrafficG is a 30 second visit. Now this can be looked at in several ways. You will view ( Or just stare at the screen ) for 30 seconds before visiting the next Site, But then--this applies to the visitor to your Site as well. It may even allow them to find something at your Site they may be interested in. TrafficG also offers an Affiliate Program where you can earn credits, they offer a Banner exchange also.

So there you have It. TrafficG and Entrecard compared Head to Head---and my Findings---Use Both----Both have something to offer, and are great programs.
